The Andaz Wall Street Farmer’s Market (located at 75 Wall Street) returns this summer with another mouthwatering assortment of locally sourced goods.
Held each Wednesday and Saturday from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. in the outdoor plaza adjacent to The 75 Wall Residences Atop the Andaz, this seasonal market brings fresh tastes from the Hudson Valley to the heart of FiDi. Stop by and purchase fruits and vegetables from Migliorelli Farm, poultry and game from Quattro’s, jams and chutneys from Beth’s Farm Kitchen, cheese and other dairy from Farm Catskills, and artisan breads from Orwasher Bakery. And, for a special treat, sample Ash Hopper’s delicate artisanal soaps, too!
In addition to the bi-weekly market, residents of 75 Wall Street also reap the benefits of the hotel’s partnership with Down Home Acres, a community supported agriculture farm (CSA).
In case you’re wondering what this means, a CSA is a unique relationship between a local farm and community members, where members pay a seasonal fee upfront to receive a weekly supply of fresh, seasonal produce.
Now through the end of October, participants will enjoy an assortment of seasonal vegetables and herbs from Down Home Acres’ gardens – and you can too! Simply sign up for a CSA membership, and then pick up your handpicked share at the Andaz Wall Street Farmer’s Market on each Wednesday.
