Photographer Evan Joseph recently hosted his book launch party at The Residences at 400 Fifth Avenue in the 59th floor penthouse suite (penthouse 2S and the adjacent FENDI Casa Penthouse) for his newest book, New York Then and Now. The book juxtaposes historic photos of iconic New York City streetscapes, neighborhoods and architecture with the contemporary perspective of Joseph. Celebrated and sought by developers, Joseph has photographed many high-end buildings across Manhattan, including 400 Fifth Avenue, where he recently shot the FENDI Casa penthouse. The event was a great success and Joseph generously donated all proceeds from book sales to Architecture for Humanity – more than $1,000! Art and architecture aficionados alike enjoyed an evening of intellect, sophistication and incredible panoramic views, while raising funds for a truly worthy cause.
